Short, sweet, but very special episode today. Nicole and Jenny couldn't hook it up, so Jenny is joined by guests Alma (her sister) and Emma (her niece), who fill in admirably. More show notes later.

March Hat KAL
March featured designer is Katya Frankel!
Also author of Head to Toe Kids Knit Accessories--would love to knit a pattern from this in March.
Let’s talk about vests!
Types of Vests (all found in the vest bundle linked above)
Fitted (almost a tank) - Trellis and Keyhole tank, Bracken
Classic - somewhat tailored, pullover or buttoned, cabled
Arty/Bohemian - unique styling - Loro Vest, Quirly
Sporty: functions like outerwear like Estes Vest, Hikers Waistcoat.
T-shirt as vest. Sandy, Boardwalk
Wearable blanket! Padovane, Stella
Veste Everest-- suit of armor
Stripey vest-cute--conservative for my style
Bracken--its a fitted design, but I did not knit it fitted. I can still wear it, but it has a floating hem
First Frost by Heidi Kirrmaier--lengthened it a lot!
Aleita Shell by Bonne Marie Burns.

The January Hat KAL is on!
This month’s featured designer is the amazing WoollyWormhead. She literally has dozens of hat patterns most sized for multiple head circumferences. The next few weeks are Woolly’s annual sale--all items are 40% off with the code bringon2015 until January 23, 2015. This is a great time to stock up and knit your favorite patterns from her collection.

15 Hats in 2015
2 hats you knit between November 1st and December 31st can count. From those entries I will draw 3 winners for patterns by Woolly Wormhead, our first featured designer, on January 1st.
We hope to have Woolly on the podcast and we will have a Woolly KAL in January so you can all take part in her sale, which is a good one.
You can knit patterns from other designers, but this is a great chance to either knit from the Woolly patterns you own or acquire new ones!
Thanks to designer Suzanne deSalme
