I really like the Gnarled Oak cardigan and the Branching Out mitts -- it looks like a great book!
Alana, I am a self-taught knitter who holds and throws my yarn in my left hand in a Continental style too -- you're not the only one!

I think the first thing I would knit from this book would be the Branching Out mitts!

I would love to queue each project in Coastal Knits. The book is exceptional. Every time I turn a page I have another favorite. My first project will probably be the Rustling Leaves Beret, maybe?
Loved the interview!

I have yet to knit a sweater so it may be presumptuous of me to think it possible but I would love to knit the Rocky Coast Cardigan.

Interesting episode, and a beautiful book. For a quick project, I'd make the rustling leaves beret, but I'm eyeing up that water's edge cardi as well. Decisions, decisions.

Quite enjoyed this podcast with Alana. I am smitten by the Gnarled Oak Cardigan and the Rustling Leaves Beret. I've added them to my queue with the plan to knit them when this round of school is over.

I really love the Rocky Coast Cardigan. Cables all over like that really do resemble a rocky coastline.

Wonderful episode! I've heard several interviews lately with the Coastal Knits author(s); this one is by far the best! Great conversation. Meanwhile, my eye is on Gnarled Oak Cardigan for first project from this book
