I've been eyeing the Wildflower Cardigan. Might have to see if Santa would be willing to leave some madtosh pashmina under the tree! Wonderful interview!!

Kathy Ryan

I really enjoyed listening to your latest episode. My favourite pattern from Coastal Knits would have to be the Gnarled Oak Cardigan - I absolutely love the oak leaf patterning and the colour the sample is knitted in. Coming in a close second, though, has to be the Rocky Coast cardigan with its more casual shaping and the zigzag patterning. Love them both!

Traci

I would absolutely love a copy of Coastal Knits, I think the Rocky Coast Cardigan is just stunning.

Whitney

Thanks for the new podcast! I've been missing hearing from you and can't wait till the next one. From the book, I'd like to knit the Rocky Coast Cardigan as well as the Cambrian cowl.

Teresa R. Roberts

I think I would make the Cambrian cowl. It's just now getting cool enough in SF. Lovely podcast. Thanks so much.

Wow, it's hard to pick just one! I guess Bayside would be first, but I definitely wouldn't stop there.

I love the Stash & Burn Podcast! Thank you!!!

I like the Branching Out Mitts. I'd love to see what both of your yarn stashes look like. If all knitters were polled, I wonder what the average size stash is - would be quite interesting. Nice interview.

Sarah Turnbull

I love the Panoramic Stole - it reminds me of a blanket I had when I was little.

Rachel

Another great episode! I missed Jenny's laugh, though.
My favorite pattern from this book is the Wildflower cardigan, but I like all the patterns a lot. Thanks for the giveaway.

I really enjoyed the new show and will greatly miss Alana's podcast. Coastal Knits is such a wonderful collection that I can not pick just one favorite. I plan to knit all of the patterns in the book and would love to have a signed copy that was packaged by Alana herself C: (itsflts on ravelry)

I was giddy when I saw the interview listed with Alana and laughed almost out loud when you mentioned that you used to use the knitting podcasts as the means for getting through a workout. This episode was my motivation to knock out my cross training this morning at 5 AM. Yay! I'm fond of the Wildflower Cardigan.

Erin

I have a slightly unhealthy lust for the Water's Edge cardigan.

Charlene Brown

I love so many of the patterns; it is like children...I hesitate to mention just one. I love the Rustling Leaves Beret, the Sea and Sand Shawlette, and the Water's Edge.

Ooh, tough choice to pick just one! I really love the Water's Edge Cardigan but am not sure how it would look on me. I think if i knit it in black or a deep color I could pull it off The Gnarled Oak Cardigan is just beautiful. I just stashed a sweater's worth of yarn in a rich copper color that it would be awesome in.

Bets

That was an excellent interview - great questions! I love the Gnarled Oak Cardigan and would probably make that *first* :) Thanks!

Judi

What a great book! I love the Water's Edge cardigan, so cute!

Lori Gross

I loved listening to the interview in episode 111 with Alana! I would love to knit the Rustling Leaves beret..quite nice

Vanessa

I'd love to knit the Gnarled Oak cardigan! Gorgeous!

Debra Qualey

My first choice to knit would be the Rocky Coast Cardigan. It so reminds me of our NH coastline.

sarah

Rocky coast and the wildflower cardigan. but really i love them all!

Karen in Maine

Great episode, ladies! I love the Gnarled Oak Cardigan, but am also taken with the Rocky Coast Cardigan.

Judi G.

So hard to pick a favourite - guess I would have to go with the Gnarled Oak cardigan but I would love to knit so many things from this book!!

Ashley McCauley

Gnarled Oak is my fav!

Kati

I am a fan of the Cambrian Cowl. I like to knit cowls and am always looking for new and interesting cowl patterns. Also, I have not yet knit a sweater, so this book would give me opportunity to grow for when I do. Thanks for the podcast!

ohsewcrafty

I love the Gnarled Oak; Wildflower cardi and Bayside pullover are currently tied for second place. I hope to knit all of them eventually!

Jenny learned to knit in 2005 and now knits to the exclusion of her personal hygiene. Her husband wonders how long this "knit from your stash" charade will continue.

Nicole (aka Big Sister) is a librarian who knits. Or maybe a knitter who is a librarian. When she's not knitting on the bus or in front of the TV or at lunch or when chatting with friends, she is, well, that's pretty much it. Knitting.
