Leslie

Great episode, as always! What is up with Stitches being on a holiday weekend this year. I may miss it too -- hopefully I can figure out a way to go... Happy new year! Leslie

I agree, great episode. I actually met FiddleKnits at the Unwind Anniversary party last week. Loved her patterns and could always use some great hats!

Abby M

Love it! I am going to say I had the same problem with spending too much money on yarn/knitting last year. 2010 was the year of the splurge - it was a good stash exploration year - but I have to knit with it this year. So I too will only constrain my cast ons by the number of needles I own - rock on! PS I hope to get the FiddleKnits stuff - she's got cute accessories on her site!

Jackie

I actually bought the Bonnie Kate cardigan from fiddleknits, but haven't made it yet. I think the sweet treats collection is great.

Marce

That color in your mom's sweater is dreeeeamy Nicole! I enjoyed listening to you ladies while cooking today, and I hope you're having a good weekend working toward all the goals mentioned.

ewesmama

happy 2011 I love listening to you gals, feels kind of like im there w/you knittin & yackin, I am starting a pair of socks for myself, from yarn my hubby bought me for my birthday, keep podcasting!!!

Thanks for your January show...love hearing your voices---plus I am usually in shock about how much I spend on yarn---but I love it! Good luck on using just your gift cards.

Ariel Luria

Great show as always, I'm committed to the sockyarn stashdown. I recommend (if you haven't already) adding the tags we need to add to our F.O.s on the Ravelry group posts, to the description of the thread....otherwise we will tend to forget and not know which episode to listen to for those tag hints.

Thanks again for a great podcast!

Anna

Love your goals for 2011! I'd love to win some Fiddleknits patterns.

Kelly

I love fiddleheadknits patterns! I've knit several of her hats and can attest to her pattern writing abilities. Great episode as usual.

TheSexyKnitter

Can't believe y'all weren't familiar with Fiddleknits yet - Erica's stuff is great! Would love to win her collection. :) Thanks for another great episode!

Janice

Love Erica's music-related patterns. Fun!

Anneh

Hi Jennie and Nicole...I know it is hard with your busy lives, but thank you for continuing to podcast. You girls make my day whenever I listen to you! And I love your pattern suggestions too!

Lauren

I had a similar revelation last year and so I spent way, way less this tear on yarn. Of course, I haven't actually added up the total yet, so I hope it was less! Good luck with your goals.

ilina

Loved this episode! I'll definitely be using up sock yarn from my stash this year, though most of it will probably become shawls, not socks.
I'd love to win a FiddleKnits collection - the Sweet Treats one is very very cute.

Jackie Kaeppner

Great podcast. I love the fiddlesticks patterns.

Kathy

Awesome episode! I've got quite a few of Erica's patterns in my faves - what a fantastic giveaway!

jennifer dickinson

Great episode!! I first saw Erica's work on Knitty -- the Sourwood Mountain mitts are hers. Definitely on my list of things to knit.

cinder

Loved the episode! Those Fiddleknits patterns are amazing!

Love the pattern collection. Thanks for introducing different patterns and designers on the podcast.

Karin

Great episode. Your Kerera sweater is such a beautiful color.

Michelle B

Great Episode! I too am trying to cut the yarn purchasing back this year and use up some of my great stash! Love the idea of casting on whenever!

Kat

Thanks for helping me clean the toilets :) (well you know you entertain me while I scrub)

Amy Lamash

If you can go to stitches and not buy any yarn, I will give away my stash! Of course I would never give away my stash....but you will never leave Stitches empty handed either!

Jenny learned to knit in 2005 and now knits to the exclusion of her personal hygiene. Her husband wonders how long this "knit from your stash" charade will continue.

Nicole (aka Big Sister) is a librarian who knits. Or maybe a knitter who is a librarian. When she's not knitting on the bus or in front of the TV or at lunch or when chatting with friends, she is, well, that's pretty much it. Knitting.
