Nicole thinks she might buy: bulky yarn for John's sweater, cashmere from Lisa Souza, some more Ming to have enough to make Kerrera.
Jenny really wants to go to Toots LeBlanc and Lisa Souza. She would also like to see what Miss Babs, Tactile, A Verb for Keeping Warm, Pigeonroof Studios, and Snicklefritz have to offer.
Thank you everyone who sent me shower gifts! I am so amazed and grateful to be part of this amazing community! Here are my Flickr photos of all the gifts laid out. There are several photos in this thread, too. Knitters are the best!

omg, I am hysterical looking at the photo of my ha-UGE brown hat next to everything else! I swear I was getting gauge. I sincerely hope, for your sake, Nicole, that the baby's head is not that disproportionately large!! You can save the hat and give it to him for his 13th birthday. maybe. LOL
Nice haul, what cool knitted gifts you got. I'd love to see a photo of Jenny's crocheted blanket, too.

Thanks for the great episode! What fun to hear what everyone made for Nicole! And I have a Beck connection for you -- my cousin (one of the Dust Brothers) is his producer. :) Hope to (finally!) see you at Stitches next week. :)

I have a Beck connection for you...I'm his brother. Great episode, except you didn't comment on my knitting or hand-spun! :)
Love the podcast, long time listener.

I implore you to visit Andra at the Webs booth and try Peruvia Quick, the yarn Norah used for Devon! It is beautiful, super light, FAST knitting--I had to reknit a sweater for a book the other day and managed to get it done in three days. A long, hooded coat.
I know I'm biased, but really, it's amazing!

I am wearing my Lucy in the Sky right now! Because it was my very first adult sweater, mine doesn't very well but I'm sure yours will.
