Wonderful episode--lively and interesting as always. Thank you for posting the link to Alice's Sweater. My son GothBoy has had a low opinion of knitting--until I showed him the photo.
Thanks for reinstalling me in the elevated position of
Not Totally Hopelessly Uncool Parent.

Great episode! I am crazy star-struck about everyone -- even local newscasters! -- so I will definitely have to find that fun famous-people Ravelry thread. Also, like you, Nicole, my son is wild about orange and has been since he was 18 months (he's now 7). We even painted one of his bedroom walls a dark burnt orange! Leslie p.s. I am no longer blogless!!!

Stone Mountain & Daughter is FANTASTIC! :) My friends and I went there last weekend to buy buttons for our Feb. Lady Sweaters. I didn't succumb to the fabric, but I did think they had some great stuff.

Help! I am visiting San Francisco for the first time ever in June and am totally disoriented and confused. I know that I need to go to Imagknit. I know I will be staying at the Hotel Majestic on Sutter Street. I will be on my own for 3 days. Where do I start? Can you help me?

who are we?

  • Jenny Check
Jenny learned to knit in 2005 and now knits to the exclusion of her personal hygiene. Her husband wonders how long this "knit from your stash" charade will continue.
  • Nicole
Nicole (aka Big Sister) is a librarian who knits. Or maybe a knitter who is a librarian. When she's not knitting on the bus or in front of the TV or at lunch or when chatting with friends, she is, well, that's pretty much it. Knitting.
