Leslie

Thanks for a GREAT episode. It is wonderful to have you back. I listened while walking from Laurel Heights, through the Presidio and into the Marina, traveling back up the Lyon Street stairs to go home. With this gorgeous weather and my favorite knitting podcast, it was just heavenly! :) Happy New Year!

Katie

Haven't listened to the show yet but I just wanted to say THANKS for putting up the show notes so early! I always wait to listen until they're up, because I like to be able to see what you guys are talking about so hooray! Happy New Year,
Katie

Quote of the show!

This is an awesome episode...lovin' it! And I'm dying to make a whole sweater of malabrigo...specifically the Vaila sweater form the last Twist.

I received some domestic buffalo yarn, grown & sheared in Oklahoma, as a gift. It's a bit scratchy on the skein, however the swatch in the store was soft, soft, soft, and a bit fuzzy. Apparently, washing is GOOD for it.

Beth

Glad you're back! It was a fun episode! I was listening in the car with my kids, though, and have a really dumb, somewhat humiliating question: what was it that you said about that silly "snuggly" thing that's been advertised on TV (the blanket with sleeves)? Were you talking about a knit version? The reason I ask is that my stepfather asked me for something like that. And I aim to please!

Thanks, and it was great to hear from you both again!

Patricia

I also made Gretel and I agree with everything you said about it. Great pattern!

Great show, all in all, as well -- I missed you guys!

Claire

Welcome back, you were missed! Did you ever find the Ravelry IPhone app you mention? I've looked and looked and can't find anything on ITunes store, but that means nothing, since I hate the ITunes store, it's hopeless

WOW -- Artfibers coming to Pinole?? When and where?? I live in Pinole and this is thrilling news to me!

Darlene

Hi girls, love the episode I love all the awesome things you mentioned. I made a baroness-beret
for my daughter and neice and used a tubular cast on and there is one at Knitty that is even easier no waste rows that have to be cut off! I have an idea for your Wedding shawl get a nice type of hanger and hang it on the wall kamono style...I got this idea from an old "Cast On" episode where the lady hung all her shawls and scarf up as art rather than hiding them in the closet. Thanks again for your great podcast!!!

Ha! I also have a mother who likes to acquire handknits but rarely wears them.

Those Bella mitts are fabulous. I may have to make a pair (I'm Canadian--they'd certainly be useful.)

Jennifer

What was the verdict on the Raverly application for the ipod. I've been searching, but can't seem to find one.

Dana

Thank you for the link to the tubular caston. Much easier than other methods I've tried. Thanks guys and glad to have you back!

Jessica

Thanks for the mention on the show. I do want to point out that my Giant Latvian Mitten Cardigan is a Meg Swansen pattern she created based on charts from Lizbeth Upitis's Latvian Mitten book. It's available from Schoolhouse Press. Thanks.

judi

Yeah, I'm a bit behind... didn't you mention a Ravelry app for the iPhone?
