Here are a few more one skein patterns:
Lana & Clark lacy ascot
http://vickiehowell.blogspot.com/2007/02/lana-clark-ascot-february-free-pattern.html
Ribbed legwarmers (2x2 rib from your knee to your ankle)
I made the ascot with one whole 100yd skein of Debbie Bliss cotton angora. For the legwarmers, I used one entire skein of Cascade 220. My legwarmers aren't meant to be seen in public! Just to keep me warm while I sit and knit (at home) during the winter months. Also, I'm short, so one skein was enough to cover both my calves. If you've got longer legs, you'll need more than one skein.
Update on pet blanket (if you remember): I finished! You can check out the pictures on my new blog :)

okay, finished a 'one skein' project. only, it was really a partial skein - but it totally took care of the leftovers that would have otherwise sat in the stash bin for a long, long time.
great podcast. very inspirational for some small projects. i have several i plan to make over the coming weeks.

I knitted a mitered square baby blanket for my grand-niece, who's due to arrive any day now. Original pattern, used parts of three skeins of 100% acrylic worsted on US 10 needles.

Ok...another oneskein entry here. I found the BEST link to a site to help calculate decreases for a hat crown.

So I made a non-pointy hat! :)

Another oneskein projected added - martini dishcloth

I'm still listening to this episode, but you guys hafta check out Hip Knit Hats by Cathy Carron. The hats start at the top, so you don't get the pointy top, and you can put it on the person's head to know how long to make it - whether they want it to cover their ears or not. Also, the patterns are written for different weights of yarn, which is cool. My husband and our teenage son both got hats last winter and we're all happy - they were quick knits and very cool!
Thanks for another great show!

I just found your podcast thanks to Liz of Crossroad Knits. I think I modify patterns just about every time I pick one up for some reason or another.
I added a one skein project to your Flickr group under the Ilovesoup. handle. It's a capelet for my Girly and maybe me too.

OK, I've got one quick one done--a cupcake from One Skein. I have another couple of one skein projects in the works. I posted it to the Ravelry group as well.

Finished my second: Elisa's nest tote, out of AllHemp hemp for knitting. I used more than one skein, but way less than two--and it's very big (you can see it on the flickr group).

Hi Nicole & Jenny!
I posted a one skein project to your flickr page. I knit it out of desperation because I only had one skein of Malabrigo and searched high and low for a scarf pattern that would compliment the yarn but not require more than the skein yardage. I settled on the Rainy Day Scarf and used us 10.5 needles instead of the 9's the pattern called for. The finished scarf is just the right size to tuck in your jacket and is so soft and touchable.
I started it a week or so before your contest, it was actualy finished on the 22nd of August. Will it make the cut?? What can I say, for once I was ahead of the wave... who knew one skein projects would be so "it".
Thanks and love the show. You're my listening buddies on my train commute.

Oh, how exciting! I just saw that you extended the deadline. I finished a pair of socks from one skein of Trekking (and plenty left over) just now--will post them to the flickr group when I replace the camera batteries.

I've already posted here about my (so far) three FOs, but I forgot to say that on flickr my id is elisabethg61. So that's my trekking socks, nest tote, and cupcake.
