Hey gals, I was just listening to your podcast via iTunes, and it seems to go blank at minute 19 (and 23 seconds, to be exact.) I checked all my settings, so I'm pretty sure it's the audio file. Just thought I'd let you know!

Jenneke

Oh dear, I came here to post the same problem. Did love the piece on Miss Japel's book. When it's available in Holland, i'll certainly get it.

Melissa

I was coming to post about the blank space also. Love the podcast though!!!

Jenny

Hey everybody! We had a little problem with the audio file. It should be fixed now, but you may need to re-download the podcast in iTunes. Sorry about that!

Harold

Hey! I just listened to the episode. It's great, as usual. Sorry your computer ate part of the original file. It sounds perfect now. Maybe it was one of the kitties, hacking into the Matrix in the dead of night. ;)

Jennie

Great show, guys! I think I found you through the link from Cast On's site. Anyway, love the show and keep burning that stash.

Karen

So glad that the file decided to cooperate the second time around!! Loved the Five Stages of Stash - I can't decide if I've accepted my stash or if I'm really still bargaining (if I knit from my stash like a good girl, I can go to the local Ct Fiber Fest in
April and buy more). Have a wonderful time at Stitches!!

Steph

You brought up sock yarn today, and kind of implied that it has a mind of it's own. COULDN'T AGREE MORE. As much as I think the idea of socks is fun, and the yarn is to die for, I don't make them. To date I have finished a grand total of 1 pair. Now for the problem. I have almost 22 kilometres of sock yarn. That would be close to 14 miles. So I thought you might be able to help me find another outlet. I love making mitts, but it really doesn't eat up that much. . .

HELP!!

Sonserae Leese-Calver

Hi...

Thanks for the email....Yes, your podcast is truly a blessing!
They have Japanese yarn brands here...Puppy Yarn and a lot of imported Italian yarns. I just made a "knitting blog" this morning. Since I had a difficult time finding info for yarn shops in Tokyo, I decided to list what I've found so far with pictures and maps. There I have described some of the yarns I purchased in more detail.
Check out my stuff at this link:

By the way...I have an idea for getting rid of your stash but also possibly getting the yarn you want. Have a "barter" or "trade" of stash with others! "One person's stash is another person's treasure!!" HAHA....

Keep up the good work...

Thanks for another great show! BTW, I looked at Nicole's flickr of FO's and loved the Corset Pullover and Lotus Blossom top so much I've cast on for both! The photos are better than in Interweave.

Enjoy Stitches :)

Emily

Thanks for the new episode, and for the tip on Little Knits. I actually went there and bought yarn while I was listening to your podcast (the trouble I can get into on the internet;)! I look forward to hearing about Stitches.

caro

Sounds like you have a good game plan for Stitches. Have fun!

celeste

great episode!
my plan for stitches is to buy peace fleece sock yarn, socks that rock, and some fancy wood needles (cherry, rosewood, that kinda thing).
so excited!

Jenneke

About that fantasy life increasing your stash... Ever since you mentioned Thermal I've been totally checking out fingering weight yarn for this sweater... Must not give in... must not...

Thanks! Jenneke

this is the first podcast i've ever listened to (i'm sometimes a little late to embrace technology). and, WOW! what fun!
my morning was nirvana, as i slowly ate my oatmeal, listened to talk about knitting and stash, got insight on a new book i've been curious about, and i finished knitting my sock!
keep up the good work :)
happy knitting, and ... i LOVE my stash ... sometimes it's a bit overwhelming, but all in all, it represents a million memories.
thank you.

Ack! Withdrawals! I can't save your podcast from the website, or even listen to it there. Something about not finding the source...am I doing something wrong? Jen.

AnnaMarie

Just caught up on all the episodes of your podcast. Great stuff!

Happy Knitting!

Barbro

I love your podcast and I think the best thing for a woman with a big stash is to stay calm and knit!

tini

Hi,
I love your podcast :) I just recently got back to knitting after a ban from my doctors after facing cancer but now that I got the o.k. again I'm hooked again.
Fortunately I do have a very very small stash of yarn but I do have enormous stash of fabric, so I listen to your podcast while sewing :) destashing my fabric stash :). Thanks to help me with that!

Agusta in Iceland

Hi I love your podcast and can't wait to here about stiches. I am in no danger here in Iceland of having shows like that to go to, BUT the online thing is another saga altogether :-(
I think I need an intervention before I fill the house with yarn or for that matter cross stitch supplies or quilting as I do those as well.
But anyhow keep up the good work and I will be eagerly waiting for each show.
PS. Don't get my started on the sock that rock thing, I subscribed to the club and I haven't even seen the yarn.

miss violet

Hey girls! Lime and I were sitting here listening today, NODDING LIKE MAD at all the stages of grief. We've BEEN THERE. Totally. :)

Nadine

Hi from Germany! I just discovered your podcast this weekend and "took you to work" this morning on my commute- great show! I am already addicted and I've only listened to two episodes so far! :) As for stash issues- I know it......... my problem is the 3 to 4 lbs of sock yarn leftovers that I "keep for baby socks"- but let's face it- unless one of my friends decides to adopt a baby centipede.... fat chance of ever really using it...Anyway, keep up the shows and greetings!

Lissa

Love your podcast - keep them coming, please please please! I would love to see the stash spreadsheet. It sounds just perfect for me. Do share!

CAT

You guys are doing a great job! I'm enjoying your very organized and edited show. The topic of Stash and UFOs could definitely keep knitters talking for years....I know we'll always need reminders to destash!
Congratulations and welcome to the world of podcasting.

I am loving your podcast! I am on a business trip and your podcasts on my iPod have been my saving grace. Although I am having major knitting fantasies and I even went to the local phone book to see if I could find a LYS where I am and no such luck. Looking forward to many more to come. You should also start a knitting group/circle in SF--I'd come!

Jenny learned to knit in 2005 and now knits to the exclusion of her personal hygiene. Her husband wonders how long this "knit from your stash" charade will continue.

Nicole (aka Big Sister) is a librarian who knits. Or maybe a knitter who is a librarian. When she's not knitting on the bus or in front of the TV or at lunch or when chatting with friends, she is, well, that's pretty much it. Knitting.
